KEEP A MANUAL SAVE BEFORE THE ENDING IN MAIN QUEST “ONE GIANT LEAP”. You can still do everything from the save before the ending (all Faction Questlines and Misc Achievements are still available when reaching the Ending). The game doesn’t offer a “Point of No Return” warning and doesn’t warn you when the ending happens, but it keeps multiple Autosaves which you could reload immediately after the credits to go back.
After the ending it automatically starts New Game+ and all progress except your level and perks is deleted (it resets all missions, side quests, inventory items, relationships, starships, outposts, exploration progress, discovered Systems/Planets, crewmates etc). Number of missable Achievements: Everything non-story related is missable if you complete the ending (Main Quest: “One Giant Leap”).Approximate amount of time to 1000GS: 75 hours (25h Story + 25h Faction Quests + 20h Misc Achievements + 5h farming XP for Level 100).Estimated Achievement difficulty: 2/10 (can do everything on ‘Very Easy’ difficulty).
